Jeff Bowden

In addition to his interests as a commercial real estate developer, Jeff is a writer and documentary film producer and director. His latest project was A Single Frame, which explored his connection to a photograph taken by the French photographer, Alexandra Boulat, during the war in Kosovo in 1998. Jeff also produced and directed Get Back to Dirt, which was broadcast by Fox/Speed Channel. Prior to producing and directing, Jeff was a senior editor and columnist at D Magazine, the city magazine of Dallas. Jeff is presently a partner in People News, a group of community newspapers based in Dallas, Texas. He is currently working to adapt a Texas Monthly story for television.

M. David Bryant

Mr. Bryant is an attorney in the Dallas office of Dykema Cox Smith, a national law firm. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the American Law Institute. Mr. Bryant earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, and has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Texas.

Mr. Bryant serves on the Board of Directors of The Landrum Company and Landmark Bank, N. A., a two and one-half billion dollar banking organization operating in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. He is a member of the Executive Committee of The Landrum Corporation, and serves as Chairman of its Compensation Committee and its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Additionally, Mr. Bryant is the Executive Producer of “The Liberators”, a documentary film selected for exhibition in 2016 at the South by Southwest Film Festival, the Dallas International Film Festival, and the Portland Film Festival, among others. 

Ross Cummings

Ross Cummings is the President and General Partner of BlueWater Systems. Ross Cummings formed BlueWater in 2004 to acquire control of the initial groundwater leases and a producing well from Layne Christensen Company (NASDQ-LAYN). He has served the President and General Partner of BlueWater Systems and BlueWater 130 and also serves as Secretary/Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cross County Water Supply Corporation. Prior to 2004, Mr. Cummings was the President of Austin, Texas based Cummings-Baccus Interests, Inc., a respected and highly successful commercial real estate investment firm. He earned a BA in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas at Austin.

Tom Larkin

Tom Larkin is the founding partner of SPS Advisors, which provides strategic design, strategy and execution to companies in the healthcare space. Tom also serves as EVP of Commercialization at Sonarmed. Previously, Mr. Larkin served for nine years with Wells Real Estate Funds/Wells Investment Securities, one of the largest REIT companies in the United States. In 2007, Mr. Larkin was named Chairman of Wells Investment Securities, and later, Chief Executive Officer and President. From 1994 to 2003, Mr. Larkin was with Ronald Blue & Co., one of the largest independent private wealth management firms (RIA’s) in the nation. Mr. Larkin began his career with Advance Cardiovascular Systems (ACS, later, Guidant), a division of Eli Lilly. Mr. Larkin earned a B.S. in Biology at Valparaiso University.

Donald L. Stuart

Don Stuart is a partner in the Austin, Texas law firm of Metcalfe Wolff Stuart & Williams, LLP. Mr. Stuart’s transactional practice is focused on the representation of owner-operated businesses and their individual owners, as well as commercial real estate development. Mr. Stuart also specializes in federal income taxation and Texas state tax matters, including representation of taxpayers in both administrative proceedings and litigation. 

Don received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D. from the University of Texas, graduating with Honors (Order of the Coif) in 1979. He is also a certified public accountant. Mr. Stuart is a member of the Business Law and Tax Sections of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas and he currently is a member of the Texas State Comptroller’s Liaison Committee. He is a frequent lecturer to professional groups, including programs sponsored by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the State Bar of Texas and the University of Texas.
